Project step 2 - Standardization of the branch IT
- Configuration of the subsidiary PCs on the basis of the central office desktop PCs.
- Providing the subsidiary PCs with a special control software for cash desk systems,
label-printers and hand-held scanner (for inventories and other purposes).
- Possibility for remote maintainance of the branch IT environment.
- Installation of the complete IT environment of one subsidary within one man-day.
Project step 3 - Installation of a central transfer server
- Installation of data transfer services:
- Daily transmission of the cash master data to the subsidaries.
- Daily transmission of the arcticle master data to all hand-held scanner.
- Transmission of the inventory by the hand-held scanner to the merchandise system.
- Cyclic collection of the cash turnover from the subsidaries.
- Daily transmission of the daily sales report to SAP.
- Daily generation of the stock value report to the subsidaries.
