SAP Connection
The leading company product for the financial accounting system is SAP-FI™.
The new ERP system should transmit all data pertaining to the financial accounting
system to the group-wide SAP system, just like the legacy system did. Thus the SAP
interface had to be completely redesigned and integrated.
Mobile Inventory Data Entry
The inventory is carried out by using mobile devices (mobile computer with scanner functions). For this purpose current database updates must be uploaded from the ERP system to the mobile devices, as well as the collected article information must be downloaded to the ERP system. Therefore MobIS™ is used, the mobile application for inventory data entry and synchronization. MobIS™ is versatile applicable and easy to handle. The inventory data are recorded in a CSV file. They can be viewed in a spreadsheed programm and further processed if required. For the syncronization processes new interfaces were developed and the new ERP system had to be set up accordingly.
Legacy System Archiving
The legacy system was firstly consolidated and it will finally continued as a complete system, but only with read access. The advantage of continuing the old system is, that access is guaranteed at any time, not least for GDPdU relevant purposes.
